Prominent Hill Copper Expansion Project

Westlink recently completed the end-to-end logistics management of structural steel and preassemblies for BHP’s Prominent Hill expansion project in South Australia. We managed the international transport of 10,000 revenue tonnes of steel from Phu My, Vietnam to Adelaide, South Australia and then deliveries to the project site. Our team was involved early with our customer with guidance on transport envelopes to maximise preassembly and modularisation and delivered all steel in accordance with site construction activities. Westlink is proud to be involved with another copper project success as this commodity booms as a critical resource for the electrification and decarbonisation of global industries and communities.
