East Coast Australia Freight Locomotives

Westlink has recently completed the end-to-end transportation of six (6) G226C-3 Locomotives from Durban, South Africa to Port Augusta, South Australia. The locomotives were loaded onboard Roll-On-Roll-Off (RoRo) Vessels and delivered to Melbourne, Australia before being transported to Port Augusta via heavy haulage.

Services provided by Westlink included:

• Origin services – pre-shipment inspections and stevedoring

• Ocean Freight via RoRo - Durban, South Africa to Melbourne, Australia

• Destination services – stevedoring, laydown management and haulage to site
