Project Completion – Westlink Delivers Structural Steel for South32 Mudwashing Plant Upgrade

Westlink is proud to announce the successful delivery of over 2,500 cubic metres of structural steel and platework for the South32 Worsley Alumina Mudwashing Plant Upgrade. This upgrade aimed at boosting processing capacity and operational efficiency of the mudwashing process at the Alumina plant. The cargo was transported from the fabrication yard in Tianjin, China to the project site in Worsley, Western Australia and met the tight project schedule.

Services provided by Westlink: 

• Pre-shipment inspection and export coordination from China

• Breakbulk shipping via Multipurpose Vessel to Fremantle

• Oversized transport to Worsley site
