Pluto Offshore Development

Westlink recently completed the full end-to-end transportation of steel suction piles for the Woodside Pluto development. The 22 metre long piles were fabricated in Kabil, Batam, Indonesia and shipped via Multipurpose Vessel to the Burrup Materials Facility (BMF) in Dampier, Australia.

Services provided by Westlink included:

• Origin services – pre-shipment inspections and stevedoring

• Ocean Freight via Multipurpose Vessel

• Destination services – stevedoring and laydown management
