Westlink was engaged to provide a multimodal logistics solution for four (4) product bins and structural steel fabricated in Qingdao, China to be used in the construction of an iron ore screenhouse at Rio Tinto’s Cape Lambert operations in the Pilbara region of Australia.
Scope
Tug and barge – fabrication yard to vessel hook at port of Qingdao, China
Multipurpose Vessel (MPP) – Qingdao to Port Walcott
Heavy Lift Vessel (HLV) – Qingdao to Port Walcott Tug and Barge – Port Walcott to Cape Lambert barge landing facility
Heavy Haulage – barge landing to screenhouse project site at Rio Tinto Cape Lambert operations
