Westlink was engaged to provide full end-to-end logistics management of structural steel, large bin sections, modules and trusses fabricated in Tianjin, China and Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam to be used int the expansion of Fortescue’s Christmas Creek mine site in the Pilbara region of Australia.
Scope
Pre-shipment quarantine inspection of structural steel in China and Vietnam
Multipurpose Vessels (MPPs) – Tianjin and Shanghai, China to Port Hedland, Australia
Oversized haulage – vessel hook Fortescue mine site
Construction coordination – coordination with site team to unload trailers for direct install or laydown
