PROJECT OVERVIEW

Westlink has supported the Australian Defence Force (ADF) with logistics solutions as a qualified subcontractor for the ADF Sealift Panel since 2013. As part of this support, Westlink has transported various mobile equipment and infrastructure from ADF Lavarack Barracks in Townsville for operations exercises in Papua New Guinea.

SCOPE

  • Craneage and Haulage – ADF Lavarack Barracks in Townsville to Port of Brisbane

  • Multipurpose Vessel (MPP) – Port of Brisbane to Ports of Lae, Port Moresby and Wewak

  • Haulage – from Papua New Guinea ports to various ADF operations sites in country

  • Container Movements – hire, packing, handling, freight and clearance
