Woodside PoG Field Communications Upgrade

Westlink has transported a 9.2m Reel spooled with an offshore communication and electrical cable from Oceaneering’s facility in Rosyth, Scotland through to Dampier, Australia. On arrival, the Offshore Installation Vessel hipped up alongside the Heavy Lift Vessel whereby the reel was transferred into a hub drive system on deck. This allowed the Offshore Installation Vessel to proceed directly into the field and install the cable without any vessel downtime.
