PROJECT OVERVIEW

Westlink was engaged to provide full end-to-end logistics management for the delivery of large gas infrastructure from suppliers facilities in USA and Malaysia through to greenfield project sites in rural NSW and QLD, Australia.

SCOPE

• Heavy Haulage – Suppliers’ factories to ports of loading
• Ocean Freight – Heavy Lift Vessel charter, RORO shipping, and out of gauge container shipping
• Heavy Haulage – Port of Brisbane & Port Kembla to rural QLD & NSW sites
• Project Management
• Australian customs and quarantine clearance

HIGHLIGHTS

• Zero LTIs
• 4,200 cubic metres (cbm) transported with heaviest lift of 55 metric ton (mt)
• 2 x Heavy Lift Vessel charters, with one being direct sail from Long Beach, USA to Brisbane, Australia
• Delivery of all cargo within specified project schedule
• Maximum cargo envelope – 15 x 5.1 x 3.6 metres
• Awarded contract for both stage 1 and stage 2 expansion projects
