PROJECT OVERVIEW

Westlink was engaged to provide end-to-end logistics for structural steel, walkways and beams bins from Tianjin and Qingdao, China to be used in the upgrade of road infrastructure in Melbourne, Australia for the M80 and Monash freeways.

SCOPE

  • Pre-shipment quarantine inspection of structural steel in China

  • Multipurpose Vessel (MPP) – Tianjin and Qingdao, China to Melbourne, Australia

  • Oversized Haulage – vessel hook to M80 and Monash project sites

  • Construction coordination – coordination with site team to unload trailers for direct install or laydown
