PROJECT OVERVIEW
Westlink was engaged by a customer to provide a multimodal logistics solution for a 750 metric ton power cable basket fabricated and spooled in Nantong, China to be used in the construction of a new power cable from Kangaroo Island to Adelaide in South Australia.

Crane barge – lifting of empty cable basket onto self-propelled barge

Self-propelled barge – spooling of power cable into empty basket at ZTT Nantong

Self-propelled barge – transfer of full cable basket from ZTT Nantong to Long Wu Terminal, Shanghai
