PROJECT OVERVIEW

Westlink managed the international transportation of two thousand three hundred (2,300) accommodation units for building of a new construction village on Barrow Island, Australia for the Chevron Gorgon LNG Project.

SCOPE

  • Pre-shipment quarantine inspection and factory completion accommodation units in Thailand

  • Flat rack fleet management for each voyage – mobilisation and demobilisation

  • Multipurpose Vessel (MPP) – Sriracha and Laem Chabang, Thailand to Henderson, Australia

  • Haulage – from vessel hook to laydown yard in Henderson

  • Delivery of over 2,300 units totaling over 280,000 cubic metres

  • Two (2) year dedicated time chartered vessel

  • Ten (10) consecutive voyages

  • Full quarantine compliance with Class ‘A’ Nature Reserve requirements
