Westlink was engaged to provide a multimodal logistics solution for 520 kilometres of large diameter concrete and FBE coated line pipe from a coating facility in Kuantan to Gladstone Port for Origin’s APLNG Project. The delivered pipe was used in for the construction of a high-pressure gas transmission line for the project to connect gas fields in the Surat and Bowen Basins to the newly constructed LNG plant on Curtis Island in Australia.

SCOPE

  • Pre-shipment quarantine inspection at WASCO coating yard in Kuantan, Malaysia

  • Holiday testing and cleaning of line pipe at coating yard prior to loading on vessel

  • Multipurpose Vessel (MPP) – Kuantan, Malaysia to Gladstone, Australia

  • Haulage – delivery and marshalling within Gladstone Port limits at laydown yard
